Reichhardt Electronic Innovations Inc. was established in April 2006.
The company was formed to bring the Ultra Guidance PSR to the American agriculture producers. Reichhardt wanted to introduce an automated steering product for self propelled farm equipment that is accurate, repeatable, versatile, easy to retrofit into existing farm equipment, and easy to use. Reichhardt provides a system that simplifies the automated steering process but provides flexibility in its use. Unlike GPS-only systems offered in the market, the Ultra Guidance PSR does not require the added work of data management and gives you accurate repeatability every time you go into the field.
The office and testing facility is located south of Arthur, N.D. Reichhardt Electronic Innovations currently serves the Midwest but has plans to expand into other agricultural areas of the United States and Canada.
The company's main product is the Ultra Guidance PSR. It is an automatic steering system for any farm vehicle. The customer can choose to connect into the hydraulic steering or utilize electric steering assist. Field profiles, such as rows, trams or tracks, or GPS signals create the guidance lines to steer the vehicle.
What makes Reichhardt Electronic Innovations unique is that our base product delivers sub-inch accuracy at no extra cost. We offer accurate repeatability with or without GPS signals. You can start to use our system at any point in the growing season. Reichhardt Electronic Innovations is the only company that uses alternative input signals (LPS Local Positioning System) like ultrasonic and tactile sensors to steer a vehicle. Ultra Guidance PSR is flexible and can be used on multiple vehicles and is designed to incorporate components that the customer already owns.
Reichhardt Electronic Innovations also sells the Minibatt which is a hand-held mini-combine for taking grain samples.
The Reichhardt Ultra Guidance PSR agricultural auto steer system is the auto steering system for every farming operation. You feel the system guiding you down each corn row. This auto steer system follows the crop in the field.
Reichhardt wants you to have a GPS system, with or without GPS subscription, which simplifies the agricultural auto steer process but provides flexibility in its use and gives you accurate auto steering repeatability every time you go into the field. We offer RTK repeatability without RTK costs. A tactile sensor that follows the corn rows by feeling its way down the row. The feeler sensor (tactile) is mounted in the corn snout located on the corn head it is in the same location as the header height control.
