With the intend of electronics as a practical aid in agricultural engineering, there would often be a large number of terminals inside the tractor cab. The solution came when manufacturers agreed on ISOBUS as the industry standard – more precisely, it was ISO 11783 that made things easier.

Nowadays, new devices are often already equipped with ISOBUS ex works. The vehicles and implements available now require suitable retrofitting in order to also be able to use all the advantages. Simply retrofit ISOBUS
ISOBUS implements have become an integral part of modern field cultivation, especially in applications such as sowing, cultivation and grassland technology. Provided that the vehicle also complies with the ISOBUS standard, modern ISOBUS attachments, such as a spreader, which is equipped with weighing technology, documents the quantities spread and adapts the respective spread rate in the specified partial area to the application maps, can be used successfully. Any ISOBUS terminal can be used for operation.
If the vehicle does not yet meet the ISOBUS standard, ISO FIT by Reichhardt noticeably increases the comfort for the user.

Individual ISOBUS retrofitting with clever modules integrates vehicles that have not previously complied with the ISOBUS standard into modern agricultural management as required.
ISO FIT standard kit
The basic version ISO FIT Standard Kit is an ISOBUS retrofit in OEM quality and comes with an ISOBUS rear plug and an ISO InCab plug. An integrated terminating resistor provides a consistent resistance level for error-free CAN Bus communication between the tractor and the implement, according to ISO 11783.
ISO FIT basic kit
The basic version ISO FIT Basic Kit is an ISOBUS retrofit in OEM quality and comes with an ISOBUS rear plug and an ISO InCab plug. An integrated terminating resistor provides a consistent resistance level for error-free CAN Bus communication between the tractor and the implement, according to ISO 11783. The ISO FIT Basic Kit can be individually extended at any time by the ISO FIT front plug.
A vehicle-specific ISO FIT kit is available for the Fendt Vario 200 VFPS – S3 as a retrofit for ISOBUS implements.
ISO FIT Front Socket
The ISO FIT front socket is available for front operation of ISOBUS implements (N sensor, front tank, …). It is simply connected plug & play via two plugs and is immediately ready for use. It can only be used with the ISO FIT Basic Kit.
For some vehicles with factory ISOBUS, special ISO FIT front sockets are available:
- Fendt Vario 700, 800 – COM 3
- Fendt Vario 500, 700 – S4/SCR
- Fendt Vario 800, 900 – S4/SCR
- Fendt Vario 1000 – S4
- Valtra T-Serie Generation 4
ISO FIT Receiver Adapter
The ISO FIT Receiver Adapter allows GNSS receivers (e.g. John Deere StarFire) to be connected to ISO FIT via CAN Bus or a serial port so that the receiver data for the terminal and implements are available. In addition, the Reichhardt steering systems and GREEN FIT can also be integrated into the ISOBUS via this adapter. It can only be used with the ISO FIT Basic Kit.

ISO InCab EXTEND
The triple ISOBUS distributor ISO InCab EXTEND from Reichhardt extends the ISOBUS connections in the cab and is an indispensable component for efficiency in modern agriculture.

The Y-adapter expands your InCab socket, allowing two ISOBUS terminals to be operated in parallel or an additional ISO CONTROL joystick to be installed.

ISO CONTROL takes the lead
The functions of modern ISOBUS implements and machines are extensive and complex. Operating these machines via a terminal can be inefficient.
An ISOBUS joystick such as ISO CONTROL provides a relief since buttons, rockers and axes can be assigned freely and the function assignment can be adapted to personal preferences when operating a wide variety of devices through the transfer from the terminal. The function setting of the joystick can be changed again at any time.
ISO CONTROL can control the existing functions of ISOBUS implements via five different configurations. Because both digital and analog functions are supported, a digital function of the implement can also be executed by analog operation of the joystick. The levels are conveniently switched using two buttons at the rear of the housing.
Quick Installation and Operation
With the supplied universal bracket or the optional RAM-Mount bracket the ISO CONTROL joystick is quickly and easily mounted in the driver’s reach.
The installation in the cab of the vehicle is easily performed by plug and play via the InCab plug. The configuration of the functions is performed in the ISOBUS mask and via the menu of the ISOBUS terminal.

The new ISOBUS joystick ISO CONTROL offers new functions in a new, modern, user-friendly, and ergonomic design.
It will replace the ISO CONTROL SK, which has been around for ten years, in 2026 and now offers additional options for controlling analog functions and using analog inputs for digital functions.
During development, particular attention was paid to user requirements. A color level indicator via LED directly on the handle enables intuitive operation and clear feedback during use. This makes handling even more convenient and safer.

When choosing ISO VT, it must be ensured that the scope of services is consistent with the planned tasks. Functions that the terminal does not support cannot be selected for the implement. Optionally, the ISOBUS terminal with the largest range of functions can be used for all implements and ideally also for the tractor. SMART COMMAND – SMART VT for Smart Farming Applications
SMART COMMAND, the app for Smart Farming applications, makes it possible to use a conventional tablet as an ISO VT to operate the ISOBUS implements. Communication with the machine takes place via WiFi. Due to the well-known handling advantages, tablets already occupy a permanent place in the company organization. The gap in machine control and administration is now closed.

ISOBUS Retrofitting

ISOBUS implements are an integral part of modern agriculture when sowing, during maintenance work and when working in grassland. With ISO FIT by Reichhardt, the Unimog receives a full-fledged ISOBUS retrofit cable set in OEM quality.
With the optional T-ECU it is possible to make all available vehicle data available on the ISOBUS. All GNSS receivers can now also be connected via CAN bus or a serial port, for instance when using SECTION-Control for an ISOBUS implement.
ISO LIFT is the retrofittable, ISOBUS-compatible electronic power lift control by Reichhardt. Integrated into the existing operating concept of the Unimog and using the multifunction joystick, ISO LIFT increases work quality and ergonomics.
