Track guidance with lateral shifting
To the dismay of many farmers, the implement does not always keep track of the tractor, regardless of how precisely it is steered manually or automatically. The problem is particularly severe on slopes. The effects are dramatic where, for example, chopping is carried out in organic farming or precise embankments have to be created for a long time in special crops.
The active automatic implement steering via the shifting frame by Reichhardt provides a solution here. PSR SLIDE uses GNSS satellite navigation signals with highly accurate RTK correction data for track guidance, as well as the proven option via ultrasonic sensors. Both options can be used independently or in combination.
The sturdy frame can be easily and quickly attached to the tractor’s three-point hitch. Likewise, PTO-driven implements can be operated with the PSR SLIDE. With a displacement range of +/- 30 cm, it now easily compensates where tractor and terrain slope threaten to throw the implement off track. Operation is clearly laid out via an ISOBUS terminal.
Accurate and universal
The PSR SLIDE enables mechanical weed control where the accuracy for use was previously lacking. As a result, and through the targeted use of chemical maintenance measures where they are unavoidable, the use of the PSR SLIDE saves expensive operating materials and makes an important contribution to environmental protection.
PSR SLIDE RTK
Satellite-based implement guidance is the option when repeatable accuracy is to be available from the beginning and throughout the growing season for all subsequent operations. This is the case when crops are to be planted for many years, e.g. asparagus and strawberries or also dams for potatoes and carrots. If sowing is already done with maximum accuracy even in sloping terrain, hoeing operations can be done before emergence.
For this, RTK correction data is needed, because only it guarantees a precision of +/- 2 cm. With the RGS 700 by Reichhardt, you are using an RTK receiver where the compact design and attractive price/performance ratio are ideal for smart farming applications that require high accuracy in real time. The large number of receivable satellites makes it more reliable in difficult situations, and because it already supports future planned signals, it is a valuable investment for many years to come.
It is operated via an ISO VT in the vehicle cab.
PSR SLIDE SONIC
The ultrasonic sensors on the Reichhardt shifting frame or directly on the implement detect the current crop extremely gently. Existing plant rows and ridges thus become reference points to which the automatic steering for the attachment is oriented with very high accuracy. This makes it possible to work on plants and irrigation hoses with centimeter precision.
With the new SONIC 200 sensors, you get a height-adjustable sensor mount and plant-repellent sensor cover that reliably follows its path in the row with the highest precision, even in higher and already closed stocks.
Pushing is also possible, for example to use the heavy hoe in the rear and the following fertilizer spreader in the front. The sensors are insensitive to dust and operate independently of daylight. The ideal fields of application for PSR SLIDE SONIC are fertilizing and maintenance measures in typical field vegetables, in all row cops, as well as in cereals.
Operation is via an ISO VT in the vehicle cab.
The PSR SLIDE advantages
With the PSR SLIDE, the implement stays precisely on track regardless of the tractor and terrain. This creates a number of advantages for you:
